The Chairmen of the Boards of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” and the Turkish Credit Guarantee Fund have agreed on cooperation

Chairman of the Board of OJSC Guarantee Fund Malik Abakirov and Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Credit Guarantee Fund Erdogan Ozegen held a working meeting during the visit of the delegation of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During this meeting, the heads of the guarantee funds of the two countries discussed the prospects for the development and the results of the activities of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The issues of access to finance for small and medium-sized businesses and measures taken to support entrepreneurs at the state level were also touched upon.

Following the results of the working meeting, Malik Abakirov and Erdogan Ozegen agreed on mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of the guarantee system.

It should be noted that the Turkish Credit Guarantee Fund has been operating since 1991. The Turkish government is currently working to expand lending under the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) to help businesses cope with the consequences of the coronavirus.

Recall that on October 29, a delegation of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Turkish delegation was presented with projects in the field of renewable and hydropower, agriculture, tourism, as well as infrastructure projects.

As it was noted, in the future UCCCE of Turkey will assist in attracting investments to the Kyrgyz Republic.
