Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov took part in a business breakfast with the heads of commercial banks of the country.
The issue of increasing the share of non-cash payments and settlements was discussed at the meeting.
Chairman of the Board of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” Malik Abakirov attended the business breakfast.
“The most advanced technologies have always been in banks. We would like the work on stimulating the growth of non-cash payments to be the responsibility of the Cabinet of Ministers. I think banks can help with the introduction of new technologies. The set goals of the Cabinet of Ministers are quite achievable,” said Akylbek Zhaparov.
Akylbek Zhaparov noted that the Cabinet of Ministers, taking into account the opinion and recommendations of banks, will take measures to increase non-cash payments. At the same time, he stressed that such meetings to discuss issues will be held on a regular basis.
