Experts believe that the pandemic will nullify all efforts to combat poverty on the planet over the past few years. The decline in world GDP, according to the World Bank, this year will be 5 percent. The organization insists that in order to restore the economy, it is necessary to support business and provide material assistance to the poorest segments of the population.
According to UN estimates, 195 million people may be unemployed. The crisis will hit hardest on small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as on agricultural workers, migrant workers and refugees.
