For seven months of this year, OJSC “Guarantee Fund” supported loans to SMEs for more than 1.8 billion KGS.

OJSC “Guarantee Fund” continues to support SMEs of the republic, providing them with guarantees for obtaining loans. The fund works with individual entrepreneurs, SMEs, providing them with various guarantee products that best match the entrepreneur’s application.
So, for seven months of 2020, the Guarantee Fund provided 917 guarantees in the amount of 397 million KGS, and the amount of loans issued exceeded 1.8 billion KGS.
Comparative analysis of the performance indicators of the Guarantee Fund showed an increase in the number of guarantees provided by the Fund for issuing loans by partner banks. If for the whole of 2019 the Guarantee Fund acted as a guarantor for 946 SMEs in obtaining loans in the amount of 2.9 billion KGS, then from the beginning of 2020 to the present day the fund has supported 917 SMEs in the amount of 1.8 billion KGS.
More than 90% of guarantees of the Guarantee Fund were provided to entrepreneurs engaged in the agricultural sector. The rest of the guarantees were issued to obtain loans for the development of services, industry, construction and other sectors. Most of the guarantees, namely about 88% of the total, were provided for regional entrepreneurs.
