The National Bank postponed payment of issued loans to commercial banks for 2 years

As part of measures to minimize the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as in order to support regional development, the National Bank’s Board, on April 15,2020, adopted a resolution “On Amending Resolution of the National Bank’s Board dated December 23,2015 No 78/10 “On prolongation of loans granted to commercial banks within the framework of credit auctions of the National Bank.”
In accordance with this decision, loans issued in the framework of a credit auction in the period from May 2018 and the repayment period, which begins in 2020, can be additionally extended with a total period of up to two years. Loans issued by the National Bank in 2018 were intended for the development of the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
