On December 1, 2016 in Bishkek a seminar on “Development prospects of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” was held with participation of Head of Financial and Credit Policy Department of the Apparatus of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Aziz Aaliev, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Imanaliev, Deputy Chairman of the State Service for Financial Market Regulation and Supervision under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Pirnazarov, representatives of international organizations and banks, managers of 6 Regional Guarantee Funds, entrepreneurs and business-communities.
Within the seminar the participants were informed about services and guarantee conditions of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” and prospects of using guarantee instruments for small and medium-sized enterprises development and extension of cooperation with Regional Guarantee Funds.
- Aaliev, Head of Financial and Credit Policy Department of the Apparatus of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, noted that one of the priority directions of the Government is to provide access for small and medium-sized enterprises to financial resources.
In this regard, taking into account all issues of small and medium-sized enterprises on insufficient collateral and Regulation of National Sustainable Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for the period of 2013-2017, the Government Plan on export development for 2015-2017, implementation of anticrisis plan of the Government of the KR for 2016, OJSC “Guarantee Fund” was created by the Government of the KR and one of the main objectives of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” is to support export-oriented enterprises.
Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Imanaliev dwelt on the conceptual basis of foundation and development of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” and comprehensive work organization of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” through the prism of support for small and medium-sized enterprises. He focused attention on that OJSC “Guarantee Fund” within its activity will work on increase of SME financial literacy and will support start-up enterprises.
In turn, Chairman of the Board of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” Malik Abakirov noted that today event was the first event and place where all interested parties gathered and such events, especially practical seminars, will be continued in all regions of the country. Besides, M. Abakirov assured that OJSC “Guarantee Fund” will carry out its systematic work for maximum SME satisfaction with loan resources and SME support, including start-ups.
During the seminar the parties shared opinions and issues concerning activity of OJSC “Guarantee Fund”, as well as banks announced their interest to cooperate with OJSC “Guarantee Fund”. Representatives of business communities announced their desire of increase of services provided by Guarantee Fund, and guarantee conditions to be maximally easy and to intensify extensive work on informing entrepreneurs.
At the end of the seminar the parties agreed on further mutually beneficial partnership and cooperation.
