The Guarantee Fund has signed another agreement with the partner bank for the implementation of the project “Emergency support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises” worth 24 million US dollars.

Chairman of the Board of OJSC “Guarantee Fund” Malik-Aidar Abakirov has signed another Agreement with the partner bank for the implementation of Component 2 “The Mechanism of Portfolio Risk Allocation” (MPRA) of the “Emergency support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs)” Project, which has already become the third in a row.

The project is implemented by the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic with the direct participation of OJSC “Guarantee Fund”.

Within the framework of the project, OJSC “Guarantee Fund” will provide portfolio guarantees to representatives of SMEs to ensure access to sources of financing in case of insufficient collateral.

The implementation of this project will allow maintaining and increasing the current volumes of lending to businesses by the banking system in the context of the coronavirus pandemic and during the recovery period after it, as well as reducing the risk of non-repayment of loans and easing credit procedures.
