May guarantees began their countdown. As of May 6, 2019, OJSC “GF” approved 803 guarantees in the amount of KGS 983 million. In total, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) received guaranteed loans from partner banks in the amount of KGS 3.415 billion.
From the beginning of the current year, 147 guarantees were approved in the amount of KGS 228 million. The guaranteed loans amounted to KGS 663.4 million.
SMEs promotion by OJSC “Guarantee Fund” through financial guarantees, has an effective influence on their position and serves as an impetus for further development and increasing volumes.
The support for enterprises from the OJSC “GF” is not limited to the issuance of guarantees. Other important areas of activity include participation in the financial management of enterprises, the consulting services, the development of business plans, and seminars on the conditions and mechanisms for obtaining guarantees for regional entrepreneurs and employees of branches of commercial partner banks.
On May 6, the ceremony of the republican competition “The Best Exporter 2018” took place. It was attended by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Muhammedkaliy Abylgaziev, who emphasized in his speech that “domestic exporters, producing high-quality, competitive products, make a great contribution to the development of the domestic economy and promote a positive image of our country.”
At the same time, the Prime Minister highlighted the great assistance provided by OJSC “Guarantee Fund” in the promotion of the country’s export potential. For the Fund, as it is known, the priority sectors for guarantee support are agriculture and processing of products, manufacturing and other industries, including special attention paid to the support for export-oriented enterprises.
The policy of promoting export-oriented enterprises is also implemented in the in program of OJSC “GF” called “One District – One Enterprise” (“OROE”), within the framework of which new enterprises and new directions are opened in existing enterprises in all districts and cities.
The more positive is the assessment of the head of the republic’s government, the more it encourages the continuation of active work on support for exporters.
